Project Life 2012
Well, here is the start of my Project Life 2012 album. I am keeping it simple like last years; in a We R Memory Keepers Brown leather album. I am using the Simple Stories by Memory Works as well as Becky Higgins | Project Life Core Kit - Clementine Edition and her Photo Pocket Pages -Big Pack of Design A (pack of 60). I am doing one week per side of the sheet protector. I am loving how it is turning out! I am also printing my weekly pictures at home on an Epson Artisan 730.

Finished December Daily 2011 6x8 Scrapbook
December Daily is an album that documents the month of December leading up to Christmas day (and sometimes beyond – that’s completely up to you). It is a chance to reflect, to share, to celebrate the season in a manageable, in-the-moment way. The entire key to this album is to put it together BEFORE December. This is the first of a few posts on the process of putting together this album. In December I will share my finished pages each day. Source: www.aliedwards.com

The Simple Things
Happy New Year 2012!!
http://
The class, the concepts and the contents are not overwhelming, not complicated and in the end, will be rewarding in so many ways! This class is being developed based on necessity, at least for me, to keep up with what I love to do...create....and who I love to do it for..God, my family, my friends...and myself!
The first first six months are based on:
- a weekly journal prompt posted to the closed FB page
- a monthly PDF printable calendar
- a monthly PDF printable doodle to color and embellish to add to your own journal based on that months theme
- a PDF of journal prompts, quotes and verses based on the monthly subject & techniques.
This is my Title Page:

For Today
I am thinking...I should go to bed. It is late. Life is good.
I am thankful...for my family. Warm home. Vacations. Music
In the kitchen...Lights on. Dishes in the sink waiting to be washed.
I am wearing...Black sweater.Black pants.Socks.
I am creating...A new habit. Journaling. Memories
I am going...to bed soon.
I am wondering...what I will do tomorrow.
I am reading...blogs, getting inspired. Getting ready to start Freedom of Simplicity-Richard Foster
I am hoping...to do laundry, finish my 2011 Project Life and keeping this a habit for 2012
I am looking forward to...going to the church tomorrow, spending time with my mother and other church members, creating cards for the New Year Year for the Lunch Box Mission Shut-Ins.
I am hearing...television, furnace running, and the dryer.
Around the house...Christmas, two different Nativity Sets, pilllows
I am pondering...Simplicity
One of my favorite things...hearing "Lord of the Dance" and remembering Aunt Clarice and listening to the Bagpiper ... beautiful, beautiful music for a very spiritual, special woman of God.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Celebrating the New Year and bringing my Father In Law home!
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

Our 1st Garden | June 26, 2011
They wanted a garden. Gardening Merit badge. They wanted vegetables. They wanted tomatoes, green peppers, lettuce, onions, broccooi, cabbage and of course, we have to have Marigolds planted around the outside. It was a great Sunday project, family time, an afternoon of picking out vegetables, smelling the dirt, getting close to Mother Earth, Mother and Son time and now, waiting for the vegetables to grow so that we can enjoy the harvest. It was a good day.

Summer Lemonade Stand | 6.21.2011
It was 4:58 p.m. My first day back to work after having seven days off. It was a good day! I always have good day; some days are better than others. But, they are always good! Today, was an extra, better than normal good day! This is why; I was in a hurry to go home to my family but, this Lemonade Stand caught my eye as I was driving by! I turned around carefully on a bumpy, brick, one the only brick roads around and bought a cup of Lemonade for $ 1.50. {There were three kids that were selling Blueberry or Pink Lemonade} I bought the pink; I am a girl you know. Thank you to a mom that was helping! I even called a friend to stop by and buy herself a cup of "pink" lemonade! And, besides, lemonade stands are a lost art of childhood! This will be in my One Thousand Gift Journal!

A inexpensive, cheap, on sale purchase of a Franklin-Covey Calendar

A inexpensive, cheap, on sale purchase of a Franklin-Covey Calendar, originally uploaded by Love.Peace.Happiness Family.
I've done it again ... changing the way I am keeping a calendar! The idea of keeping a calendar on my phone just wasnt cutting it! There was no way that I liked keeping a list and I LOVE writing things down in my favorite ink! This is an all inclusive style! As a friend responded to my text/picture; "LOL, you are too funny! I hope this style will work out for you!" I have always loved this style; full calendar in front, a place to write a "to do" list on the right. I even bought photo sleeves to keep wallet size pictures in it to remind me of my family!!!

4 Wheeling at our cousins!!!
Via Flickr:
What a fun day the cousins (our boys and my cousins' boys) had on Memorial Day! They went swimming, four-wheeling, and ate good food! It brought back many fond memories of good times at my Aunt and Uncle's home with my cousins. To be young again!! It was a very hot and humid day!!
