What a fun day the cousins (our boys and my cousins' boys) had on Memorial Day! They went swimming, four-wheeling, and ate good food! It brought back many fond memories of good times at my Aunt and Uncle's home with my cousins. To be young again!! It was a very hot and humid day!!

Can I just say how much I love living in a small town. I love the people. I love the traditions. I love being involve in the Boy Scouts and Webelos. I love placing flags on the Veteran's graves, reading their names to our children and remembering that "they" fought for our country. Remembering also for the present men and women who are fighting for our freedom. Thank you! This is one my favorite holidays and I am grateful that I share it every year with my boys. I also love taking a picture of the American Flag waving in the wind; what a great reminder! This is one my One Thousand Gift!
