They wanted a garden. Gardening Merit badge. They wanted vegetables.They wanted tomatoes, green peppers, lettuce, onions, broccooi, cabbage and of course, we have to have Marigolds planted around the outside. It was a great Sunday project, family time, an afternoon of picking out vegetables, smelling the dirt, getting close to Mother Earth, Mother and Son time and now, waiting for the vegetables to grow so that we can enjoy the harvest. It was a good day.

It was 4:58 p.m. My first day back to work after having seven days off. It was a good day! I always have good day; some days are better than others. But, they are always good! Today, was an extra, better than normal good day! This is why; I was in a hurry to go home to my family but, this Lemonade Stand caught my eye as I was driving by! I turned around carefully on a bumpy, brick, one the only brick roads around and bought a cup of Lemonade for $ 1.50. {There were three kids that were selling Blueberry or Pink Lemonade} I bought the pink; I am a girl you know. Thank you to a mom that was helping! I even called a friend to stop by and buy herself a cup of "pink" lemonade! And, besides, lemonade stands are a lost art of childhood! This will be in my One Thousand Gift Journal!

Happiness:  Hearing Luke’s voice & visiting Ohio’s museums.    It was cool that Luke saw his favorite bicycle, Pinarello in South Dakota and we did too in Amish Country. 

{Notice the handwriting and the old diaries from each year.  I wish they make these now!  Wouldn’t that be neat!}

Love: Listening to my husband playing his guitar
Peace: Seeing our cat, Pumpkin crawling up & over my legs so that she can cuddle with our youngest.
Happiness: Going to the movies, listening to our youngest laughing & seeing my husband "playing" and "dreaming."

Today, was another day full of blessings!

I've done it again ... changing the way I am keeping a calendar! The idea of keeping a calendar on my phone just wasnt cutting it! There was no way that I liked keeping a list and I LOVE writing things down in my favorite ink! This is an all inclusive style! As a friend responded to my text/picture; "LOL, you are too funny! I hope this style will work out for you!" I have always loved this style; full calendar in front, a place to write a "to do" list on the right. I even bought photo sleeves to keep wallet size pictures in it to remind me of my family!!!
